What are the benefits of QR Code Files?
QR Code Files provides both custom QR Code creation services and professional file storage for QR Codes. Unlike other third-party file storage services such as Google Drive or Dropbox, files stored with QR Code Files open directly, without additional unwelcomed prompts or validation steps.
What will the file storage link (url) look like?
Your company name (or desired personal folder name) will appear in the file path of the url, providing a professional appearance. For example, if the name of your business is “The Breakfast Cafe” and the file name for the QR Code is “menu.pdf”, the url will be: https://qrcodefiles.com/thebreakfastcafe/menu.pdf
Are there sample QR Codes that can be scanned to test the file opening process?
Yes, the three sample QR Codes at the top of our Home page are functional test examples for a personal party invitation, a restaurant menu, and a realtor’s property listing. You can use your mobile device now to test the codes! While the sample QR Codes link to PDFs, your code can link to any file type that is 10MB or less. Your code can also point to a link, rather than a file.
How can I change the file that my QR Code links to?
QR Code Files allows one free file change every six months with an active subscription. If more than one file change is needed during the six-month timeframe, there is a $10.00 change order fee.
What are the subscription options?
QR Code Files provides two simple subscription options: $29.00 / 6-months; or, $49.00 / year. The subscriptions are automatically setup as recurring for your convenience. Subscriptions may be canceled through the Square dashboard link in your confirmation email or by submitting a request on our Support page.
What if a QR Code is needed for only a short-period of time? (Less than six months)
$29.00 is the minimum charge. When ordering, select the $29.00 / 6-month subscription option; however, with a Support request, we can delete the file sooner than the 6-month expiration date. No pro-rated credits or refunds will be provided for the remaining subscription period.
How long will it take to receive the QR Code after order submission?
Please allow up to two hours during normal business hours (8am – 5pm CST) for the creation of your QR Code and set-up of the url and file storage. Orders received after 5pm CST may not be processed until the next business day.
What the image size and file type for the QR Code?
After order processing, the QR Code will be emailed to the email address provided at order entry. The QR Code will be a .png image file type and will be 530 x 530 pixels in size. You may resize the image as needed and the QR Code should still function properly.
